Alfie re-signed for the Hawks in May 2019 after returning from a soccer scholarship at university in the USA. He was the leading scorer for the Hawks U18 treble and double winning sides under Jude Macdonald in 2016 and 2017.

Alfie joined Horsham in January 2017 and scored his first senior hat-trick when he netted four in a win against Chatham Town in March 2018 in the Bostik South East League .

While a Hawks youth, he played 41 times and scored 9 times for Haywards Heath in the Southern Football Combination League in 2016-17, playing alongside his elder brother. He scored within four minutes of his debut for Heath at the age of 16, the season before.

In May 2016, Alfie scored in and won the Sussex Schools U16 national final, playing alongside Fintan Walsh. He also played for the Sussex County U18.
