Attacking midfielder Dean re-signed for the Hawks in May 2019.

Dean played ten times for the Hawks in the 2013-2014 season after being one of Steve King’s first signings in February 2014. He has played under King at 5 clubs.

Signed by Joe Royle at Ipswich Town, he played 14 times in the Championship and went on to make a total of 45 football league appearances, scoring 8 times, before playing in the Scottish Premier Division for Inverness. After Craig Brewster took over, Dean left for a career in non-league football in England.  His most successful spell was at Farnborough, where he scored 45 goals in two seasons to earn a trial at Swansea City.

Dean played alongside Hawks’ skipper Henry Muggeridge in the 2018-19 England 6-a-side team.
