He moved to England at the age of 22 and played locally in London before being signed by Hayes & Yeading who were then in the Ryman Premier League.

After playing under Jimmy Bullard at Leatherhead, Yannis was spotted on TV by our former manager Steve King playing in the FA Cup for the Tanners against Billericay Town in 2017, and was signed by the Hawks as part of the new squad put together to try to beat relegation. He was an ever-present last season after making his debut in December, with 22 appearances and two goals, before re-joining King at Welling for the start of the 2018-19 season.
